The massage and facial were excellent and the lunch (home made bread)was delicious. The European/Russian/US staff knows what they are doing and we were not disappointed. Mario has an excellent staff most of them employed for 20 years or more.
The changing & waiting room could use an update but the treatment rooms were just fine. Anyway, I was concerned with the reviews posted so my expectations were low. It's almost like going back to Disney, you feel like you've stepped back in time( for me age 14). It was an old charming house with lots of creaky floors. I first visited Mario's about 25 years ago. The most important one being the overall service. When I'm going to the spa, I look at many different variables.
With that said, I've had a lot of interesting experiences some amazing and some not so good.
